Chamber Music
Angela has adored playing chamber music ever since she was a teenager studying at The Purcell School, where she regularly performed some of the major works of the chamber music repertoire with fellow students.
She formed the Solarek Piano Trio in 1992, with whom she gave concerts all over the UK and abroad, performing trios from the standard repertoire as well as exploring works by female composers, such as Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn and Rebecca Clarke.
She has also performed in many other chamber music combinations, including several performances of Messiaen’s ‘Quartet for the End of Time’ and Schubert’s ‘Trout’ Quintet among numerous other favourites and always enjoys getting together with other musicians for informal music-making and to discover new music.
Angela is available to team up with her professional colleagues to discuss chamber music recitals for your occasion, presented in a variety of combinations to suit your needs.
“Congratulations to you all on a lovely concert last night. We are so lucky in Petersfield that we have people like you who are willing to give others so much pleasure.” Anne Claxton
